Cultural Exchange
The
brief for 10,000m2 of new Civic Offices sets out to radically change
the shortcomings in the Borough's existing facilities.
The new centre is a forum to the diverse history and culture of
Tower Hamlet’s residents. The design provides sheltered and
internal spaces for exhibitions and events accessible and welcoming
to all The massing achieves a barrier building to the elevated railway,
civic assembly rooms facing the park and a residential tower on
the corner.
