Vaardal Lunde, Metropolitan Workshop and Fuggibaggi present our vision for Mindemyren, an area of Bergen with great potential and possibility. We present our work as a vision; a set of principles covering landscape, transport, access and built form. These principles create a framework which gives rise to a number of scenarii rather than one dictatorial masterplan which we feel might hinder the dynamic development of the area.

It is important that as Mindemyren grows it is a complete place at all stages of development. The plan should always be in a position to be able to weather downturns in market conditions (as recent events have bought to light) so that streets and spaces are always usable and the layers of public realm and social infrastructure are sufficient to support the increments of population growth on the site as it grows.
